About this print
Violet Planes is the most architectural of the six, built from flat blocks rather than brushwork. The interest is in the edges: a cut edge reads as a hard line and a torn one opens into a pale fibrous seam, and the piece alternates between the two so the composition keeps shifting depth. Every block is the same violet at a different strength, with grey and bone as the only relief, so the whole thing reads as one colour statement in several strengths. It suits a modern room with clean lines, a hallway or an office wall, and it is the one piece here that holds up well cropped square or hung in a pair. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
