About this print
Moss Strata is built the way a riverbank is built, one horizontal layer at a time, with the brush run dry so the paint breaks over the weave instead of covering it. The greens move from a deep fern in the lower bands to a pale new growth at the top, and the thin light seams between them are the ground coming through rather than added paint. Horizontal structure is restful, which makes this a piece for above a sofa, a sideboard or a long desk rather than a narrow chimney breast. It reads as a green picture in a room with oak, linen and stone, and as a much quieter one against a deep clay or charcoal wall. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
