About this print
Ink Bloom is the accident that looks designed: a drop of violet ink expanding symmetrically in still water until it forms something very close to a flower, dense at the centre and feathering into rounded lobes at the edge. The square crop puts it dead centre, which makes the resemblance stronger. Nothing about it was arranged beyond letting the drop fall. It is a calm, balanced piece for a bedroom or a landing, and it bridges neatly between this collection and the flower pieces. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
