About this print
Below the Surface is a view with no landmarks at all: water above, water below, and a gradient from a lit cobalt at the top to something close to black at the base. The only structure is a faint suggestion of light shafts near the surface, and even those are soft. It is the calmest piece in the collection and probably the calmest thing in the catalogue, which makes it an obvious bathroom or bedroom choice. The blue is cool and slightly green, so it works with white tile, chrome and pale stone. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
