A giant music note rises like a monument against a golden sunburst, a silhouette crowd waving flags below. A county music festival sold with real graphic swagger.
This is an original piece printed in its own fixed palette, so there are no color options.

Made for you when you order, printed in our studio.
The poster promises nothing more than a county music festival, and gives it the full treatment: one colossal eighth note planted against a rising sun, the crowd and its conductor reduced to a lively black silhouette along the base. The small print still urges you to come by the Chicago Aurora and Elgin Railroad, very low fares, fast frequent service. WPA poster artists screen printed it for the DuPage County centennial of 1939, held at Wheaton that August, and the Library of Congress preserves it in the WPA Poster Collection, now in the public domain. The period charm is the point, and the graphics still land. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic molded gallery frame in your chosen color finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colors.
