About this print
Amethyst Banding is the same stone read the other way: not a cavity but a wall of layers, laid across the frame like strata in a cliff face. The bands alternate saturated violet with smoky quartz and thin seams of near-white, and because they run horizontally the piece widens a room rather than drawing the eye up. It is a confident colour statement that still behaves itself, which makes it a good answer to a wide sofa or a long hallway wall. Warm woods and brass pick up the browner seams; cool greys let the violet carry. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
