About this print
Violet Seam sits at the blue end of amethyst, closer to indigo than to purple, and that shift takes the heat out of it. The bands run vertically here, softening as they descend, and the flat studio light keeps every edge honest with no sparkle or flare. The result is a mineral piece that behaves like a colour field, calm enough for a bedroom wall where a brighter crystal would shout. It pairs easily with grey, oatmeal and pale oak, and gives a narrow hallway some height. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
