About this print
Sapphire Facets is the ruby's twin, the same mineral with different trace elements and a completely different temperament. The blue is dense and slightly cold, breaking into steel where the light catches a face and into near-black where it does not, and the flat studio lighting keeps it from turning into jewellery photography. It is a severe image, which is exactly what suits a study or an office wall, and it makes a natural pair with Ruby Facets if you want two. Keep the surroundings plain and let the colour carry the weight. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
