Table II turns the figure round. The spine runs straight down the centre of the plate, the shoulder blades and pelvis frame it, and the arms float out to either side, so the composition is almost perfectly balanced. Behind it Jan Wandelaar engraved a classical monument with a reclining figure on top and a medallion portrait on its face, softened by trailing plants. The plate comes from Albinus's Tabulae sceleti et musculorum corporis humani, published in Leiden in 1747, and the Wellcome Collection holds the copy reproduced here, marked public domain. Its calm symmetry suits a hallway or a consulting room wall. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
