About this print
Everything in the picture is moving: the tassel of the cap streaming back, the coat flaring, the skis slicing through soft snow while frosted branches blur past in lilac and gold. Andreas Bloch, the Norwegian illustrator, drew it around 1900 and signed it with his monogram in the lower corner; it was issued as a chromolithographed card in Kristiania. The warm sky behind the white scrub gives it an unusual, glowing palette. The National Library of Norway holds the card and marks it public domain. A cheerful piece for a hallway or a family room. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
