The moment is a pause rather than a run: she leans on a single long pole, bindings tied over soft boots, and gazes across the valley while two other skiers work their way up behind her. Axel Ender, the Norwegian painter and sculptor, drew the design, and Hagen and Kornmann of Kristiania printed it as a chromolithograph around 1890. The dark spruce and the pale winter light give it a quiet, outdoor calm. The National Library of Norway holds the card and marks it public domain. It suits a bedroom or a reading corner that wants a little northern air. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
