About this print
Red Cabbage is a cross section, and it is one of the few things in a kitchen that looks like a drawing when you cut it: the leaves fold back on themselves in tight branching channels, deep violet against a pale cream flesh, repeating at smaller and smaller scales towards the centre. Flat light keeps every line readable. It is a genuinely surprising picture for people who have never looked at one properly, which makes it a good kitchen piece and a better talking point. Plain walls, white worktops and wood all suit it. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
