About this print
Red Glazed Vessels puts a group of thrown pots in a deep scarlet glaze against a plain pale surface and lets the colour carry the picture. Where the glaze has run it darkens almost to oxblood at the foot of each pot; where it thins over a rim it breaks towards orange. The shapes are simple and the arrangement is unstudied, which keeps the whole thing from looking like a catalogue shot. It is a warm, confident kitchen or living room piece, and it goes well with terracotta, brass and cream paint. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
